Shadow Work Coaching Training – Boulder, CO – 8 days
Shadow Work coaching is a richly versatile way to work with clients on an individual basis, using the Shadow Work® tools.
Shadow Work® is known for the safety of its container, and Shadow Work® coaching offers clients a safety even greater than a group seminar, in an atmosphere of deep connection and privacy. Shadow Work® coaching also offers a client the opportunity to work at any time and place that’s convenient, without waiting for a scheduled seminar, and to work at a pace unpressured by the expectations of a group.
The Coaching Training will teach you to create a safe container for an individual, and to adapt your group facilitation techniques to the special circumstances of working one-on-one, including contracting with the client’s Risk Manager before the process begins. You will learn how to screen potential clients, how to use the “shame-lifters” in the Four Quarters (see The Four-Quarter Model), how to take advantage of the creative possibilities in the coaching container, and how to become certified as a Shadow Work® Coach.
To be eligible to attend the Coaching Training, you must first attend the Basic Facilitator Training and the Advanced Facilitator Training. The Coaching Training is the third step to becoming certified as a Shadow Work® coach.
The tuition for the Coaching Training is $2,900
To register you need to do 3 things:
1) Schedule a phone appointment with Vicki or Rhonda (to enroll in the training, and discuss the possibilities for your certification) during which you will be tested on your basic Shadow Work skills, like What’s at Risk, the Risk Manager and the Switch.
2) Send a $750 deposit to Shadow Work® Seminars, 1730 Lombardy Dr., Boulder, CO 80304 (or give us your MasterCard/VISA number over the phone with Vicki at 303-442-7989).
3) Sign a licensing agreement in order to receive your Coaching Manual.
Because we believe it’s important for you to know Shadow Work Coaching from the inside, before you can be certified you will be expected to contract separately for a Shadow Work Coaching session from a Certified Shadow Work Coach (if you have not already experienced Shadow Work Coaching for yourself). The cost of this coaching is not included in the tuition for this course.
You may be certified at the end of the training, after facilitating a real coaching session observed by Vicki and/or Rhonda.
If you are not ready for certification at the end of the training, we will tailor a program for you to work further to become certified at a later date. The cost of this additional work will depend on the nature of your program.
Once you are Certified, you will be entitled to call your work Shadow Work ® Coaching. In order to maintain your certification, you will be required to trade an in-person Shadow Work Coaching session with another Certified SW Coach once every two years.
Even if you do not choose to become certified as a Shadow Work Coach, you are entitled to use your Shadow Work ® Coaching skills in any way you wish, so long as you are in line with the licensing agreement you sign.
Hope you can join us,
Vicki and Rhonda
