With over 20 years experience, he has led seminars in many countries including the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Norway, Austria, Holland, Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Hungary and Russia. Certified Shadow Work® group facilitator Certified one-to-one Shadow Work® coach Teacher and trainer of Shadow Work® facilitation skills and a senior Shadow Work® mentor Qualified Leader and Staff Trainer for the Mankind Project John graduated from London University in 1973 with a degree in Physics with Humanities, which included considerable psychological study — an unusual combination at that time! He spent 5 pioneering years at the Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales and has worked with many not-for-profit organisations, businesses and community projects. For business and organisations, using facilitation, coaching and training, John offers client-specific business retreats, leadership and transformational workshops. He has become recognised for creating safe and shame-free seminar/group environments and specialises in re-energising disenchanted professional groups and teams. Clients have included: RLG International: Nexfor; Shell/NAM; Price Waterhouse Coopers and GE Capitol through Interaction Associates; Dial House Ventures, Grosvenor House Group, IPM Consultants. 2001 Annual conference, International Association of Facilitators. John was invited to present an experiential session on "Safely Introducing Emotions in the Training Work Place" 2003, Pastoral Guild of Jungian Psychologists. John led a presentation entitled, "Healing of the Body and Soul through Shadow Emotional Expression — Is this the leading edge?" For individuals and couples, in private practice, John facilitates Shadow Work® sessions and offers psychological life coaching. John, aged 52, lives with his wife and youngest son in rural Worcestershire; his oldest son has recently graduated and married. John takes great pleasure in his family, gardening, DIY, and guitar playing. He is a keen squash player and an accomplished cabinet maker and builder.
